I've always heard that some men mechanic take advantage of women, Well I'm convinced now that's true. My daughter had her car towed to this place and they were gonna charge her for an oil change, repair the hood latch, That had nothing to do with what the car was there for.. They did manage to charge us 10.48 for shop supplies and they didn't use any supplies to fix anything and 39.30 for checking a battery something that multiple places does for free..SMH Debbie my daughter was charge 10.48 for shop supplies and you guy's didn't do any work on her car and 39.30 to check a battery that wasn't bad and he told her she need a new battery. The same battery is in her car now working fine.. Instead of asking you employee why he did that. You decided to get on here and try to make it look ike I'm wrong for writing the post. You should refund her money for charging 10.48 and 39.30.. We didn't mind paying the diagnostic fee but the guy had two $130.00 fee on the bill for diagnostic fee. We paid you guys and we took the lost.. And if you think what he did is acceptable then we have to agree to disagree..
Yeahalright!!!!8, Thank you for taking the time to review our business. We appreciated working with your daughter and while we are an appointment only business, we asked her to drop off her 2007 Chevrolet HHR and we'd fit it in. Our service advisor staff never actually met her as all communication from drop off to recommendations was done via email. We were able to do an inspection and found a list of repairs and maintenance needed. This is our process as we prefer our customers to be aware of everything their vehicle needs so that they may address any safety/maintenance issues. As to the assertation that 'men mechanic take advantage of women', as a woman working in the auto repair industry for 24 years, I find that to not be true. Automotive technicians and service advisors are people that work with a wide range of individuals and in most cases, are respectful and value what they do and have no need to treat anyone badly. We also don't work for free which is why there was a charge for the diagnosis and inspection of your daughter's vehicle. We're sorry that you weren't happy with the pricing and list of repairs needed for your daughter's vehicle. We wish you the best in finding a service facility that meets both you and your daughter's needs. -Debbie Nol
