History
Arie Nol and his family emigrated from the Netherlands to California in the 1950's where Arie worked for Porsche racing. After moving to Grand Rapids to be closer to his family, he spent some time working in a local dealership. In 1976, he realized his dream of opening his own car repair shop.
He started with a two-bay shop on the corner of 52nd and Eastern Avenue in Kentwood, where Arie used his knowledge of vehicles to grow his business. In 1982, they added an additional bay and grew along with the City of Kentwood. He enjoyed the daily interaction with customers and the business continued to grow.
Arie passed away in 1992, and Jeff purchased the business from his family in 2000. He had worked alongside his Dad since the business opened and was looking forward to continuing Arie's success. Jeff, like Arie before him, enjoys the challenge of working on vehicles. He also likes educating today's customers about the maintenance and repairs needed to keep their cars on the road.
Today Arie Nol Auto Center, Inc. is a facility with the latest technology needed to work on today's vehicles. We have expanded to accommodate our customers' needs by adding a waiting room, additional bays, and the latest equipment. As we look forward to celebrating our 38th year in business, we are thankful that we are able to serve another generation of drivers.
